CURCUMIN:

Curcumin decreased FBS levels and improved menstruation characteristics (amenorrhea, oligomenorrhea, and menstrual irregularities) in women with PCOS but did not affect other metabolic, hormonal, and hirsutism indices. In light of presented findings, curcumin has beneficial effects on serum markers of inflammation, weight loss and glucose and lipid metabolism in patients with PCOS.With the deepening of research, a lot of evidence shows that curcumin is a natural regulator and protector in the process of female reproduction . Continuous (up to 4 months) and high-dose (up to 12 grams in human body) use of curcumin is also quite safe . Curcumin has obvious protective effect on ovarian tissue. In fact, this compound seems to be involved in inhibiting the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), a proangiogenic factor closely related to the formation of PCOS, thereby inhibiting ovarian angiogenesis, preventing ovarian fibrosis and promoting matrix degradation .

SARACA ASOCA: 10:1 GLYCOSIDES-stimulates uterine contractions Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a widely occurring metabolic disorder causing infertility in 70%-80% of the affected women. Saraca asoca, an ancient medicinal herb, has been shown to have therapeutic effects against infertility and hormonal imbalance in women. S. asoca bark extracts have been reported for numerous biological activities like anti-pregestational, larvicidal activity, anti-pyretic, anti-bacterial, antioxidant activity, uterine infections, haemorrhoids, anti-cancer, analgesic activities and antidiabetic.21,22 Bark of S. asoca has been reported for the treatment of reproductive disorders in females, some of the Asoka formulations for the management of gynaecological disorders. It seems to stimulate the endometrial and ovarian tissue and it can help with menorrhagia caused by uterine fibroids. It must be able to treat a wide range of gynaecological issues. Ethanolic extract of S. asoca was found to have estrogenic activity, adding to the plant’s traditional use in the treatment of female reproductive issues.

GYMNEMA SYLVESTRE:

the treatment of ethanolic leaf extract of Gymnema sylvestre reduces insulin resistance by improving glucose utilization, regularize menstrual irregularity and promote ovulation by correcting the hormonal irregularities and improve the development of follicles in PCOS condition.
